I went into a Carphone warehouse on sunday in the Mall at Cribbs Causeway (near bristol) to ugrade my 6600 to the latest firmware and the nobs in there said that there isnt an upgrade yet and that the firmware i have is the latest :???:
They fcuking useless, i know that there is a new firmware upgrade out and so does literally everybody on here and most places
So a warning to people in the South West area wanting to upgrade, do not go into the mall to try.
I cant use ETI now cos of those tossers

Take the phone back to them and quote the sales of goods act 1979. Which states :-
• Wherever goods are bought they must "conform to contract". This means they must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality (i.e. not inherently faulty at the time of sale).
(Source :- http://www.dti.gov.uk/ccp/topics1/facts/salegoodsact.htm)
As such you are entitled to refund if the phone doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
Go back to them and ask them for a firmware upgrade or refund. After all you can go and buy the phone anywhere!

What your failing to remember is that not all service centres will be bang up to date the minute the new firmware is released.
I wanted an upgrade 3 months after the release of the 3650 and they hadn't even got the cable
then again i'm not suprised - clubnokia.co.uk isn't updated for months at a time.
But don't be so quick to jump up and blame them for your problems.
