Ringtones and Wallpapers in 3650

Hi everyone!!

I am a novice in the use of smart fones and am not very well familiar with the symbian os. I own a nokia 3650 and an infrared cable. I have 2 questions:

1.
I have downloaded some mp3 ringtones from the web and then have transfered them to my fone. Now they are changes into the .wav format. When i select them as my default ringtone... the fone plays them as a preview... but when a call comes in, instead of playin that very ringtone, my fone reverts to its default nokia ringtone.... what can i do?

2.
Ho can i put any of my own jpgs as wallpapers in my fone... when i goto the images folder and chose an image... i dont see any option of "set as wallpaper"

please help me out here!!! Thanks in anticipation!!!

1) make sure the wav file is in the sounds/digital folder.

2) go to tools, settings, phone, standby mode to change the wallpaper.

not to sound arrogant or anything but i use soudforge 7.0 and sonic 4.0 to mix my own techno / trance loops for my poly ringotones :D :D :D or i get the nice parts from popular songs and cut them to become loops for ringtone use hehehehe :-P :-P :-P

i dont like polyphonic tones much, always prefere wav files of my fav songs :D
