I have just got a 6600 and purchased a Bluetooth USB Dongle ( Brainboxes BL554 ). I have installed the USB adapter and can send files from my Laptop to the phone. However when I try to send files ( Business Card, Text file etc) from the phone to the Laptop via Bluetooth I get 'Sending failed' The laptop is Windows 2000. I hav tried un-installing and re-installing the USB software to no avail. I also tried on my XP PC at home with the same result. Can anyone help me on this one?
I also installed PC Suite, but when I click on the M-Router I don't see any 'Bluetooth' ports. Can anyone tell me why this is?
Thanks,
Steve.

Configure Nokia PC to connect to a COM port. Pick the one the BT dongle emulates (most likely COM3).
Look under the Device manager for the COM ports installed. Dongle does not work via "BlueTooth", that's for BT-enabled MBoards.

Are you saying that because I dont have a Bluetooth enabled motherboard, that I have to establish a virtual serial connection ( albeit via Bluetooth )?
My dongle software allowed me to create a virtual serial connection and it chose COM4. However I cannot see COM4 in the M Router, so cannot choose it. In the Nokia Connection Manager, if I click on the Serial port Connection and choose advanced, I can pick COM4 click oK, but it still says 'No phone connected'
The dongle software also allows me to use a Static COM port, but won't let me choose any of the ones I can see in the M Router.
So I am no nearer solving the problem!!
