On my old 6310i, you could specify a default number to send a text to. On my new 6600 I cannot find this option anywhere. Does it still exist on the 6600. I send a lot of texts to the same person and on the 6310i it was an option in the Sending options?

I don't think you can do that. Setting a default number when typing an SMS.
If I had that option on, I'd probably be sending wrong SMS to different people
I'm already pissed off at the Address Bar being default to the alphabet ABC rather than numbers 123 ... and my loose joystick ...

if you mean default for each individual person then yes you can do this. If you haven't set it, it asks you which number to send it to..
Go into Contacts and select someone.
Click Options.
Select Defaults.
Select whatever numbers you want where...
Sorted..
Hope that helps.

yea it can be done and if u wanna send the sms to someone use the alphabets just type in the first 2 or 3 alphabets of any contact the device will automatically search for all contacts you have , starting with those alphabets .... its much faster .. i am happy the default is abc and not 123 :D
