How do i disable the warning about i've written more than 160 characters - and that the sms therefore will be splitted in two or more?
It's pretty annoing since i always forget to press okay, and just throw the phone on my bed.

On 7650 the notification is instant and beeps, can't miss it...
Besides i like the "Warning: you are going to be charged QUADRUPLE for this message" popping up :P Sometimes the ending period saves me 40p.

Yeah, but its a right pain in the arse for contract users who don't care how many texts are used. Quite a few times lately i have chucked my fone onto my bed after a text, only to find out 10mins later i needed to press ok to send. Pretty damn annoying.

Or maybe just take use of another sms sender.

Damnit ... lucky Americans and Europeans
Us Australians have to pay a hefty 25 cents (AU) to send SMS on Optus, Telstra and Vodafone. Not sure about Three and Orange (not available for me, because I'm in Brisbane, Queensland  )
Except on Virgin Mobile AU, where it costs 5 cents from Virgin to Virgin and 20 cents to all other providers.
Love Virgin ...

Oh no, you can't do anythng 'bout it, because it is the phone's limitation. The GSM specs states that each SMS is fixed to 160 characters only. If you got an older phone model, most likely it does not support "concatenated" SMS (SMS with 160+ characters), hence it will limit your texting to 160 characters only. Newer phones has the ability to concatenate SMS at 400 to 700+ characters per message so you can continously type text message equivalent to 4 or more regular SMS.

Well, yeah, but we have to pay our £25 contract bill every month, so it's not as though we are much better off...

What does it mean by "at the same time"?
Is it diff from the original ones? (can select multiple recipients)

Actually, the SMS are queued in the Outbox and sent one-by-one, and not AT THE SAME TIME. This s/w is not really useful since it allows only 10 recipients. Better create a "group" in your contacts (you can have more than 10 members in each group) and compose your message and use the group you created as recipient.

It happened with me when I try to send a picture message as well (guess they also contain some sort of special characters). It ask if I'll send as 3 separate sms? but the receiver did get it as a single sms.
Pretty strange?
Btw, how do they charge us? as single or multiple SMSs?

yeah. i really wonder how they are gonna charged us... i mean, the prob is really dumb to start with.... maybe we can use the sms counter to check it out. but dunno whether the result is really reliable. we can oni wait for our bills. kakakaka
