I've DL some sub. files r they movie files, if not what r they & how 2 use them on a S60 w/smartmovie player if they r movie files....Thx in advance.

smart movie only plays .avi files i tink.

where did u get the .sub file from? i dun noe any app that can run it.

hmm as i know .sub files is a subtitle files used for divx and xvid,
the same as srt. and so on

It also requires a codec for running the subtilte file. Don't think that smartmovie has that funktion.

Thx u all 4 the info u have posted, i'll deal with .sub files another time once i learn more about them.

err smartmovie has subtitle functions....i use em most of the time when i convert some of my movies...

and the subtitles come out awesome when played back thru the ngage....

heres a tip: always notice the frame rate of the movie and make sure u get the same .sub file that has the same framerate...otherwise ur subtitles will go off synch...
