well, there's nothing much you can do about
I used to have the same kind of problem just like you do. The thing i do was getting a new one (another brand) coz the current is not compatible.
Try "TEC" or "NCP"

well ur brand is not compatible with 6600. wtf, another stupid prob of 6600.
anyway, try this brand, TCL 256MB. works for mine for months and used up to more than 200MB. no probs absolutely.
ur friend is taking u for a fool indeed, trading his 128 for 256. ask him whether he wanna changed my S$100 into 100 pounds? i wouldnt mind euro too.

i know you dont think its a fair trade a all, but if he bought his from a shop, and you got yours off ebay, chances are that you actually paid less. so in the long run your not really loosin out on any money, right? just that extra space

i saw this thread http://nokiafree.org/forums/t61156/h&highlight=safe+mode/s.html
and i saw a program there calld filemanger...
i installed her.. and she saw my mmc!!! (while the fexplorer didnt and the phone said that the mmc is currapted) i used my usb card reader to copy some files like mp3 track and ultramp3 prog..
and i manged to install the app to the memory card!! and i heard it playing the mp3 from the mmc!!!! its worked fine for a couple of hours...
then i rested it .. ( i wanted to add more files so i took it out and back in)
and then he stopped reconizeing him!! i tried aging and agin taking it out and in agin.. nothing helped...
now i saw in the other thread something about formating the mmc with the card reader.. i did it!! and it didnt help also!
mybe i need to format it into fat32(he was fat before and i got a choice between fat and fat32)?

well my friend, my guess is that most probably ur mmc is corrupted. it happens quite commonly. well, if u r secured by a warranty, change it. if not, (most probably) then really jus too bad. anyway to check again n again, maybe u wanna try someone else card reader? mine sometimes give me the problem too... can read n cant read at times...
btw the fat 32 is rite...

Like I said, there's no way you can use that mmc with your fone
I used to have an exact problem, then I go format with a digi-cam. Then it works for a little while before it get corrupted again.
My advise would be, get a new one! Like I've said try "NCP" if you have chance to get one. My cousin is using one of that with 3650 original FW (2.50) without any problem :)

"We has been tested with Nokia 3650 model without any problem.
Nokia 3650 was list on our testing report.
It shall work, please try it again on other Nokia 3650.
STF Tech Supprot Group"
:(
and btw i cant seem to format the phone.. if i try using the code *#7370#
it just reset some settings... and dosnt delete or change anything.. (even not the contacts or images) mybe i sould try formatting it with system tools?

when you format the MMC with a card reader, it need to be in FAT not FAT32. if it is FAT32 i dont thinkt he phone recognises it, either that or says it need formatting or something
when you format with *#7370# it should wipe everything off C and replace it with files off Z. if you system tools it will only do the same thing
if *#7370# doesnt work then id say you got a ddogy phone, wehre did you get it from???
a firmware upgrade might fix it??? but v4.13 isnt too brilliant. i have it but have boot problems, sometimes just hangs at the nokia logo, i formatted it and it got better but still does it a bit.
