Hello all,

Only got my NGage yesterday and was playing around with it all day yesterday and for some reason, when i press on the 'pencil icon' on the right-handside of the right hotkey - nothing comes up and yesterday i pressed it and remember it prompting me to write a new message. Any idea what could be wrong? Should i just reset it? How?

Also, does anyone know why on the NGage - you can go into MP3 Player and activate the loudspeaker and listen to it no problem. But when you go into Radio, you must plug in the headset?

And 1 last question, did anyone here have any hassle unlocking the phone to use sim card's on any network. My NGage is bound to Vodafone right now but i want to go back to O2 as soon as possible. Is there an easier way to unlock the phone besides (using a data cable or the USB cable) ringing up the network provider helpline and ask them to after you spend a load of call credit?

Cheers for any help in advance. Much appreciated!

Brian

When I press the pencil key on mine, it doesn't come up with a new message.

Maybe the headset needed to plug in acts as some sort of antenna? I don't really know.

Correct. The handset itself doesnt have any kind of FM antenna, so it uses the headset as an antenna.

u can use the pencil key to mass highlight numerous items to move, delete, or copy/cut and paste.

for example, press and hold pencil, scroll left, highlighting the words in a sms, then choose copy, then paste in a new msg. useful to delete alot of sms at once by holding and scrolling.

Yeah. Thought so, it was the only conclusion that I could come up with.
