RealTrack Mobile is a solution of applications, which allow the remote follow-up of any person or object equipped with a Nokia series 60 mobile device. To set an example, models 3650 and 7650 are both equipped with this device.
These applications are called “RealTrack Mobile” and “RealTrack Mobile Server”, the former for mobile phones and the latter for PC respectively.
As well as the possibility of a real-time follow-up, RealTrack allows you to generate routes for former analysis using the most standard software: “OziExplorer” or any other cartographic programme, which admits GPS through its serial port. Good examples of these programmes are “Route66” and “ Auto Route ”.
Simply start the application on your mobile, get in touch with a GPS via Bluetooth and watch your position. You also have the possibility to communicate it remotely in real-time to the software server in your computer.

It needs a gps module according to their site?
this app works for me without gps!
but i cant set up MY SERVER cause the port cannot be change!
(I can use only 8080 proxy port)
I think that if you will manage to connect the server with
your mobile will work fine, without gps!

Is there any use of this app without a gps module or a gprs connection?
Or is it just like MiniGPS? :-?

The application works without gps, it transmits the CELL-ID to the PC and you can put names and coordinated. The PC search in the database and he will give you the name of CELL-ID and its coordenas (if you have them).
The version 1.0 works with GPRS alone, but in the cymonline web they announce the version 1.1 (next week) that it won't be necessary to have GPRS, save all the information in a file in your Nokia, for later load the file in your PC and analyze the route.(accurately GPS if you have one, or accurately CELL-ID if you don't have GPS).

i think that the registered version is better!
anybody who has the registered version to inform us?
i made a crappy cr@cked version of this application,
to test my server, but still doesnt work(i can finally
change the incoming port using the patched exe)
the stupid thing is that it doesnt saved the registered user
and it asks you each time you open it,
find it in my yahoo group
