two nokia 6600 questions

Hey guys (from 6600 gprs via netfront)
1. Why do downloaded themes run slightly slower? Especially exiting folders and entering the main menu again
2. I take seven pics ranging from Image to Image(006). Everything is normal until i delete the photo Image(003). The next time i take a picture, it isn't named Image(003) but rather Image(007). why?
3. Does the new firmware fix the sms send to bar, camera naming scheme, battery consumption and running themes a bit faster?

any way i have a theory to the themes!! i think all themes will run at different speeds some have more graphics, bigger detailed graphics, to speed up maybe reduce the image quality of them?? i dont know anythiong about theme construction but its my guess, ive seen the preset ones and they are very basic set up, were downloaded ones are more, does anyone know the pic format used?? if bmp(which is larger) can it be altered to JPG(smaller) this would have beter loading less stress on the cpu,

hmmm... as for the photos part....

i tink the fones take photos, then save names according to consecutive numbers, starting from the biggest.

for ppl referring to pix basing lastest pics on number behind, tis could b misleading, but we gotta live wif it eh.

for qn 3, yes, the themes run faster in the new firmware. and the camera naming scheme remains as so... battery consumption as the same... sms send to bar? i dun understand ur qn. sori.

for qn 1, i agree with leespud. qn 2, well, nokia din write the script prob and they din tot of that, wat if.... thts all. dun think they will fix it aso, its jus a minor prob, it will be a waste of resources.

i havent try to change the bmp to jpeg. but prob they dun work this way cos the themes are programmed to work with bmp not jpeg. maybe can try, but my guess is no.

The SMS Send To Bar:

When you open a new TXT Message ... and you're going to write a new SMS
At the top is where you put the recipient. The phone types the alphabet first by default ... but mobile phone numbers are in ... NUMBERS!

See what I mean?

Yes...you would have to key in the receipient's name in alphabets and if you have stored the number under ur contact lists, the message would be sent smoothly anyway as the phone will trace the number with the name you keyed in. So, either save ur contacts or key in the numbers manually at the top bar...

ermm i am still using the old frimware now..so does the new frimw are barred u from sending .sis and jar by bluetooth or infared to another phone??

can eti work fine with the new frimware? WITH SOUND?

yes u cant send sis, jar files. but u can rename the extension b4 sending. after sent, renamed back.
yeah the eti works... unlimited recording(video + sound).
and somemore when u go to manager... and wanna remove app (using old firmware), its very slow. but using the new firm, it works better.... ;)
