hey really, that looks really awesome!! much better than my pretty common and well known "nokia backlight green" :-P

two questions: does it eats the battery?
and... how the heck is that done??

1) In theory, it shouldn't eat any more than standard LEDs because I haven't bridged them.

2) www.tangcla.com - I do that stuff all the time :cool:

hmm...it looks really good, i have also changed leds on some 1100. but your's is way brighter, i did even put 2 leds on the left and 2 on the right. but it still isn't so bright. oh, and a little tip for you, in case you dont know, its mutch easyer to change them if you take the lcd off that plastic thing;)

Thanks for that tip - couldn't quite figure out how to remove the LCD, didn't want to break the LCD either! so I just used the soldering iron to make the hole behind the LEDs bigger :cool: :p
