8210 no speaker sound at all!!!

I've got an 8210 with a speaker problem.
All other functions are fine. I've tried swapping the external connector module with one from another phone .... didn't help.
I've also tried swapping the entire backend for the phone (in case the connectors on the chassis were faulty). No difference.
Any thoughts ??

Nevermind.
I took the thing apart fully, extended (bent outwards) the two prong connectors on the back of the speaker and "voila!".
Hope this helps someone else down the track.
