hello chaps

Just a quick question or two for you. At the minute i own a 7650, superb phone only issue i have is memory. Have just got a free upgrade to a 6600 which should arrive Monday. Now i cant stand polyphonic ringtones so in there place i us wav tones converted from mp3 reduced in size. They sound superb and makes me mates real jealous when there stuck with monophonic/polyphonic. Is it possible to convert mp3 to wav and use it as a ring tone on a 6600? If the answer is yes, will the file have to be saved to the phones memory or can it be stored on the mmc? I also have hundreds of appz for my 7650 and was wondering would these work for the 6600? I think i see something writing once that said the 2 phones us the same operating system. What u think guys?

Thanking you in advance for your help

cheers :)

Why dun u try using AMR files? They r alot more smaller in size. Audio quality is only sliiiiiiiiiightly poorer. U almost cun tell the difference. :)

you can change settings on your recorder so your wav tones will be saved directly to your mmc.... most apps can be installed in MMC as well
