i have recently purchased some radio handsfree that are compatible with the 6600 with stereo and its pretty good sound and even with the mp3 in the memory of the phone it sounds very loud and clear anyway its the only feature missing in our nokia symbian os phones http://nokiafree.org/forums/showthread.php?p=308610#post308610 anyone else know what im talking about?

I own one of them. The quality of the product is not as good as it seems (from my perspective). I recommend you buy a Nokia HDR-1 Music Player that plays both mp3 and radio rather than this device. I bought a HDR-1 before, but because I got the N-Gage again ... I decided to sell the HDR-1, which I did.

While listening to the radio or during a call, there is a rustling sound in the background. The device requires a small CR2032 battery at the back.

Only thing I like about it are the lighting flashes.

I don't know why your's is loud and clear, cause mine is dodgy and rustling in the background.

And btw, a non-stereo phone cannot support stereo headsets which I realized. It will still play mono sound. However, because the radio is external and nothing go to do with the phone (you can play the radio without the phone connected) ... that's why it is "stereo"

Yeah, quite a simple concept. If the input is mono, the output must be too!!! lol

thats what i mean the radio plays even without being plugged into the 6600 so its got nothing to do with the mono 6600 input right?the mp3 plays mono so basically its a neat product for the money you pay

Yes, I know that. Thing though is, the radio quality isn't that good. And when plugged into the phone (Nokia 6600 in this example) the quality during a call wasn't that impressive either.

But yea, maybe you got a better quality one? :-?
