Experiencing lag with ETICAMCORDER 1.0 on 6600

HI, i have the firmware 4.09 and ETI CAMCORDER 1.0 Pro on my 6600 and I uses normal quality, but the video is really laggy i mean the sound is not synch to the video and even worst in high quality is it normal? cause it sucks dick

i had the same problem with ETI, then the camera even with the nokia software slowed down even when takin a photo then the camera died stopped working competley ive sent it back to the service center waiting for the 4th 6600 netime soon

so u think it's from the phone?? cause i think it's smooth with nokia recorder of 10sec

Hi, u have 3 ways to record a video in 6600. First with nokia official camcorder.. that saves smooth video with audio ok, but only 9 sec max.
The Tim Videorecorder which saves very smooth video and audio with the capacity of 30-40 sec.. but it saves after the video captured before in temporary way. So it takes time to "compress" and for made the .3gp. This format it's easy to convert and is gratly compatible with others video application tool (players, editors.. etc). Also it is the best result u can take with this phone.
ETI camcorder allows u to make large or "infinite" videos-depends to the space free-(and with new firmware) also with audio. But it needs to compress the video captured "on the fly" during record.. so it lags a few in the output file. It's normal! But u must have a bit frame-rate.. almost 3-4 fps .. Normally i have 8-9 fps with sometimes a bit more lag..
So if u have problems of huge lag, check for backgrounds processes (and the hided processes!)
Eti files can only be converted with a PC, and so u can only use it or ETI "My video" to see

i think it depends abit with the movement speed too. i have lag with the standar nokia recorder. not with tim tho. havnt tested eti yet... i will when i get the new firmware

thanx a lot for your answer so it's ETI that sux :) too bad that with the 6230 u can record with the nokia soft 10min :'( and we dont have this on 6600 it sux dick
