6600 Application Help!!

Hi, I need help.. ive just got a nokia 6600 :D What a great phone :D .
Ive been trying to download some applications but they are all zip files - ive heard you can get a zip program for the phone, is this true? if so where can i get it from? thanx for any help !

Hi,

What I would suggest is that you unzip all the files to yr PC.
Use the Nokia Disk SUite and install the .sis file to yr phone
Next you will have an option to save the file to yr phone or yr Memory Card. ( Prefer Memory Card)

Thats all you need to do. :)

lol i have another promblem now... Ive downloaded PV player and now i need to download the.app file 2 my phone. when I send it via Bluetooth it goes in 2 my inbox and i cannot move it . i have a file manager on my fone - what directpry do i need 2 look in??

c:/system/mail/(1st folder)/ its in 1 of the 16 folders, labelled 0-9, a-f. ( e: if ur inbox is stored to mmc.)

Why don't you use the PC suite, that way you can install the apps directly to phone or mmc. You might want to get FExplorer and Forward. They are two very useful program. Fexplorer is a file manager program on your phone. Forward is a program that can extract files that are sent to your inbox, such as when u send file through infrared. Also if you have a card reader, you can put it in the right folder.
