I havent been able to resize the wav files enough so they can fit on the phone memory. I have tried Goldwave, winamp, can't find PC SoundRecorder. This is for my Nokia 6600. Any help would be really appreciated.

use nokia multimedia converter to convert mp3 to wav.

using pc suite, send a mp3 file to sounds/digital folder of your mmc/fone thru the file transfer option, pc suite will convert to wav for u, which will b about half the size of the mp3.

I did try PC Suite but it didn't work properly. Cant get anything to work properly!!

I have now managed to get the files on the MMC to be recognised. I went to sound recorder and set it to mmc, recorded a clip and there they all were !! :D

I used software called Goldwave, which I think is excellent as you can increase the volume of the wav file as you shrink it.

You can transfer any wave file to ur fone as ringtone by PC Suite, did you go to PC Suite Control PAnel and set the file coverter to "all" ? If yes, you will see converting file first b4 coying when you copy the file to ur fone by PC Suite.
