My friend once say he will definitely buy a hp that can play GBA games,no matter nokia make or not! Even LG make one,he will buy!

I had a fantasy that a gadget specs is first based on GBA set, then they add the hp capabilties into it.So that only by installing a GBA software emulator into it will make the hp able to play GBA games properly and also bypass the copyright issues.Won't that hp be a top sales hp.

Of course, the issue of buying a GBA set will be cheaper than a hp will come in but the problem is 'Will u bring along a hp all the time or a GBA set?' A hp can play GBA will be perfect ,right?

(If n-gages is based on these idea,I bet n-gage sales will be the best of all nokia product)

Not really, n-gage games have better graphs than GBA.

And i was dreaming of playing XBOX games on it not GBA :-P

PS2 is no match in terms of specs against XBOX but still a lot of people play PS2 than XBOX.WHY? It's the game title that counts ,not the specs! This apply to n-gage too.

its a shame why so many good games come out for gba and not for n-gage. u can really pick any kind of game u want. there are currently 1525 (exactly) gba games out. and how many does n-gage have???? only a handfull... oh well, i have a gba so im not complaining :-P

hmmm... maybe nintendo goes hand in hand with a handphone company and comes up with a handphone, that can insert gba cartriages!

@seddoc hp = handphone.

Yeah, but all the newer GBA games a shit!! There are shit games, then shitter sequils, then shitter sequils after that. All the good original games are in the past and no good games are out. Its become a toy rather than a gaming machine, which is a shame, cuz the first games were top notch.

Maybe now is a down time for GBA and the creator run out of ideas.Hope fully they can recover and continue to make some fines games!

there are still some new quality games for gba. like the new f-zero, swords of mana (GREAT!), golden sun 2, harvest moon, karnaaj rally (!), need for speed underground, sims, metroid fusion, blah blah blah.... but i agree that there are fewer and fewer good titles out.

though ngagae games graphics are better but gba library of games = much much more than ngage!

and i hate the thought of gba games make for ngage, thats so lame. ngage should make only exclusive games.

anyway, well i guess u cant really have both side of the world. its either serious game playing or a phone.

Yeah that's true, the GBA's game collection is huge in comparison to the N-Gage's game collection...

I would prefer a GBA emu over Yewnes

MArio Kart, Golden Sun (best RPG on a portable), Street Fighter 2,
mate the list goes on there are so many good games on GBA even though the good games are out numbered by bad games 4 to 1.

Speaking of Fantasys I had this dream that 2 hot asian lesbians were chasing me and .......................

More like 100-1...GBA has far too many crap games.

gophermaster
16-06-2004, 07:22 AM
100:1 sounds like a nice ratio of shit games to decent games on the GBA! :)

16-06-2004, 01:13 PM
They'll still be less than 20 games 4 the n-gage by at the end of the year.

Maybe... Who knows. Nokia could bust out with a whole heap of games at one time...

You mean running GBA Emulator on HP Pocket PC?

Well i have a I-Mate...installed a Nes emulator...worked fine! same goes for the GB/GBC, Snes, Genesis and Gamegear!

Then i tried playing GBA games...maybe the emulator or my PPC can't handle it or GBA emulation on PPC's needs more power to run on a Playable speed.

Why wait a GBA emulator on N-gage?

GBA+Flash card = 200 euros and games are free.... forever.....

bye

i gotten my gba flash cart at US$69 for a 256MB

its rather cheap... well for the pocket pc, u need to have a proper 400mhz running b4 u can set any gba rom running straight. but dun use any overclock app if u wanna run gba roms, it dun work that way....

@infinity, 100:1 is a cruel ratio... yeah there are many shitty games but there are many great games created for gba too! take for example, the sims! who can deny it as a great game?.....not to mention, fireemblem, goldensun(draggy dialog...), mario rpg, etc.....

Wonder when Nokia will drop the NGage product. Is it doing okay on sales?
