Controlling PC via Bluetooth

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any software to control programs on my pc from my 6600 using Bluetooth. I've used the search and found Bemused which would allow me to control winamp but i've already got a winamp controller so it's a little useless to me.

What i'm looking for is something that will let me control windows media player and power dvd so i can watch dvds and videos and control them remotely, any ideas?

yeah. pc-remote or pc-remoteX is what u need. it can control lots of things including winamp mediaplayer and a dvd player (i dont know what kind). and theyr both freeware!

oh and another1 is wireless control which lets u control the pc mouse. thats free too.

Yes, but I want to connect via Bluetooth, this app is using gprs

it ses it can use bluetooth or ir too. but i also only got to to use gprs... strange.

anyway PC-RemoteX can controll the mouse as well... and keyboard. and thats using BT

Are u sure this work with 6600?

Presenter works fine in pc but when run on 6600 nothing happen like running non compatible program.

What ver and language that u have :-?

It's a Uk model and i've already posted my firmware above. My mate uses the same prog on his identical 6600 so it's not a fluke.

Love the wizard on setting the media player better then the rest mention aboves.Compatible and tested with 6600.

Connection with 6600 quite tricky similiar to oxygen
1)stop pairing bluetooth 6600 with pc
2) disable all bluetooth serial com on mrouter
3)run bemusedserver on pc and bemused on 6600, this will create
new connection. Check bemusedserver if it is connected.
4)If ok 6600 will download list of music names(but make sure the mp3's have required properties by checking the mp3 properties by right mouse click the files, name or etc else failure to send mp3 song list names)

bemused rules... forget the others lol... its great! very easy to connect... very fast, nice interface (skinnable) and it controls mediaplayer as well

i cant get bemused to work on my 3650. its all set up correctly, but when it tries to gain a playlist or anything, it searches and then says, "connection timeout" try agen

any suggestions 2 y this is?!

Right mouse click mp3 file add all properties -the album name,artist,track number etc. Hope this will help :rolleyes:
