nokia!!! WHY NO BIG SCREENS?

I have an n-gage and love to play my games, movies,MP3s, emus etc. I think it's one of the best emtertainment systems money can buy! But I still find myself expecting to buy a P900 when I next change. (still keeping n-gage tho.) The reason is quite simple... BIG SCREEN. Watchin smart movies on a big screen would be awsome, same with games.


But WHY can't nokia make something with a larger screen so I could tell Sony Ericsson where to stick it!

Not touch screen or anything, just a decent size. The Nokia s60 phones are far better in my opinion, and I'd love to get another if the screen was bigger.


Let's face it, as soon as I get bored with V-Rally there isn't much else.

symbian s60 is always that size. symbian uiq has a bigger screen... which p900 and p800 uses. nokia hasnt made any uiq phones yet.... but maybe they will soon..?

the funniest thing about the screens would be the ones on the 7200.
look at it. even samsung flip phones has screen thats abt 75% of the flip size?
whereas nokia's 7200 is at most 50% of the flip size??
thats my only complain for screen size!! HEHEHEHE

any bigger the phone wont fit into our pockets or there wont be any buttons :wink: :grin:

imo, symbians screens are big enough already.

and ngage games only work on symbian series 60. not uiq or 80 or watever.

The 7700 is series 90 like the communicator.

Bigger symbian screens will come soon. The symbian features packs (i think its called symbian v2 but im not sure) has the ability to work with larger screens (there were 3 sizes) so hopefully nokia will start using that after the 6630 and we'll see some bigger screens. The only problem with that is that it will probably render all existing apps useless.

if u wan games, wait for PSP, the ultimate serious gaming machine. or u can wait for Nintendo DS... jus read of a hardware mag, it will arrive around nxt year May... :-(

The reason is quite simple... BIG SCREEN.

And tiny battery life :( Unfortunatly until battery life catches up with phones whats the point in having a phone where the battery is going to be dead after half the films watched.... particually a nokia

I think the Symbian Series 60 screen size is large enough for my liking. The S40 128x128 was too small.

If I wanted a even bigger screen, it would have to be better than 65k and is touchscreen

(Damnit, you guys heard? Nokia killed the 7700! But doesn't affect me much ... 7610 is the way to go! :) )
