nGage Usb Cable Help

My pc audio manager cant read my nGage when i plug in ngage usb cable .. can any 1 help me wit this .. its stress me for 2 month and i cant find anyway out .. thanks in advance....

wat windows os are u using?

when u plug the phone in, it needs a mmc card in it too, else it will not detect your fone. u shld see your phone appear as a removable drive in "my computer".

i had a mmc card inside my ngage already .. but when i log in nokia audio manager its say no device connect ..

when i plug my usb cable into my pc port my phoen cant read my mmc . its say no mmc insert. why like that

You must format the MMC Card on your N-Gage for it to work through USB

After formatting completed, connect through USB ... and it should show up.
If it doesn't, insert a different MMC (with nothing installed, or installed apps that weren't installed on the first original one) and format it, then re-insert the default one again.

It should work after that.

Btw, when your N-Gage is connected to the PC via USB ... you can't do anything related to the MMC on your N-Gage. It's "locked" so that you can't edit, modify, change or damage it while the PC is copying or pasting stuff around.

my 256 mb cant read for usb cable but my 16mb mmc can . why its turn out like tat

does ur ngage detect the 256 mmc in the 1st place, in memory.

if it does, try formatting in a digicam or something (not mmc card reader, unless u use something like mmc medic on pc). then format in phone again.

my ngage can detect my 256mb mmc but when i plug in usb cable for ngage my ngage cant detect it ..

I found out that if i format it in a 6230 then it actually reads! Tried every other way possible before but it never worked, put it in the ngage in a vain attempt to use the ngage to transfer mp3s to my 6230 MMC and low and behold it actually picked it up!

this isnt really related but to get stuff to your memory card in your n gage do you need a bluetooth? or can i transfer all my mp3s and games on to my n gage thru the usb cable????

yes.

mp3s use audio manager to send, or send to root of mmc.

apps/games, send to root of mmc, not in any folders, on main of e:, then go to manager to install.

I have the same problem at my N-Gage! I tried in 100's of digicams and mmc readers to format but it doesn't effect. My PC can only detect the mmc card that came with my N-gage! Someone told me that it can be about the label of the mmc...

And i will excuse from tzeonn about my obstinate behavior... Sorry :)

I am Using An MMC Read-WRiter And its useful enough and cheap. But you have to take out the mmc often!

I Think you can find them between 20$ to 35$. But i don't know anything about their label and quality...
