SIM memeory has nothin to do with the phone memory,
to go to SIM messages:
1) Go to Messages
2) Options
3) SIM messages ( choice number 2 )
when you get there delete some ( all is recommended ) the messages you find.

Ur phone has three main parts:
1) Phone Memory
2) MMC
3) SIM
If a problem persists in one part, treating the other wont help you; so formating the phone will only treat the phone memory and it will not come any near the SIM. So we want to know where does the problem exist.
try another sim card in your phone and do the steps I told u about in my last post. IF there the problem was gone then ur SIM is corrupted and the only one who'd help you is your wireless provider. IF the problem still exists then the problem is with your phone, and to treat the phone the only way I know is sorry to tell you *#7370# .

tried my sim in another phone.
it had 10 msgs, 6 from hotmail ( which i was wondering where they were)
and 3 unreadable.
tried another sim in the 6600, got same errors.
also noticed that i couldent send sms either.
ah well gonna try formating the phone now
wish me luck!
