I got my phone unlocked.
The phone is from T-Mobile(Nokia 6610) and I'm with Cingular, so when I'm trying to put my Cingular SIM card inphone, there is no signal receiving.
May I did something wrong, or may-be I have to do something else.
Thank You.

If the phone does not reject the SIM, it's correctly unlocked.

If you're getting no signal, either two options:
-The phone is barred under Cingular, which means that somebody reported that phone as stolen/missing
-Cingular is working on a radio band that the phone is not supporting. That could happen, because there are (as long as i know of course, i could be wrong) four bands: 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz, and i think that there's only one phone (Motorola) that works on the four bands, but not any nokia (Not sure about the new models...). There are dual band (as my 1100), and tri band (as yours I think).

In your country, this option is unprobable. Is more probable that the phone has been reported stolen under cingular.

Check that two things, maybe the problem is in any of them

Cheers

The phone from T-Mobile provider.
And I bought that phone on ebaY, so when I was trying to unlock it, I called T-Mobile customer service and they gave me unlock code. And if phone was stolen , they won't gave me any information about the phone. The phone working with T-Mobile and doesn't work with Cingular.
thank you.
