what kind of nomenclature is that? What does symbian means? It´s like dct3, dct4, symbiam? Another point: all manufactures uses it, or just nokia does? thanks in advance. :-?

symbian is the os running in series 60 nokia phones. its like windows, running on ur pc.

phones running symbians not only nokia, other brands too. but diff type of os.

Sony ericsson for example, uses symbian uiq, touchscreen, which is diff from other os. the nokia communicators uses diff os too, series 80.

in the symbians of this section, we talk more about nokia symbians, series 60 phones like 6600, 3650, 3660, ngage, 7610, even sx 1, thou its rare.
