anybody knows if i can change my 6600 cover???
also would i void the warranty if i opened up my phone n how do i go about opening up my phone???

I will give u step by step instructions on how to change the housing
and thereotically speaking YES it would invalidate the warranty BUT BUT BUT..... if anything goes wrong with the phone you would obviously fit the housing that came with the phone BACK ON THE PHONE before you took the phone into a service centre so NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT there.

got new condoms for the 6600 too so once u change the housing, fit a condom on and it will keep it new looking. I have mine fitted with clear crystal keypad and gold housing, the keypad lights up bright blue and really blinds you lol.

I wouldn't worry, Nokia will not find out, they are not gonna examine whether the housing has been off or not, they examine the screws on the inside to see if the pcb has been exposed or not.

lol they aint proper comdoms. just something that looks like them, to keep your phone clean from dust etc i think anyways??? lol im just goin by the ones you could get for 3310 etc years ago

they are tight rubber casings.

in fact, they get more dust into my phone instead :sad:

they call them condoms because they are a perfect snug fit for the phone, they are clear so u can hardly notice u have it on the phone
they are made from soft durable rubber type material (be careful of the cheaper ones that people sell that are made of hard plastic)
yes some people find that dust gets in under the covers and gets trapped, but the main purpose of the condoms is to keep the phone new looking ie scratch free, to clean simply slip condom off (lmao) and give a quick wipe then simply slip condom back on (these condoms are re-usable unlike some other condoms lol)

yeah i bought it for 680 and sold it for 370 a month later cause it's so STUPID... you can't do ANYTHING on that STUPID phone... there's no games, even if there were, they were STUPID and not cracked...

i'm glad i changed to 6600... goodness the first day i changed, i felt the differnece... like as if i reached the nirvana... lol
