O2-UK Mobile web

i have been having trouble for ages connection my n-gage/3650 to mobile web with my O2-UK sim card and have come across plenty of people with threads with the same problem, the main app i wanted to use was agile messenger.

recently i got a brand new replacement n-gage from nokia as my old was unfixable, this arived sim free unlocked, my old one was bought on orange payt so had orange settings and stuff but this n-gage had setting my old one didnt in the gprs connection section i had the following settings installed

O2 N-GageTM Arena
Orange N-GageTM Arena
T-Mobile N-GageTM Arena
Vodafone N-GageTM Arena

so i thought how about trying agile messenger with the O2 one

to my surprise the first time ever no problem it connected and i was on MSN!!!!! so many settings i had tried

settings are:
Connection name: O2 N-GageTM Arena
Data Bearer:GPRS
Access point name: mobile.o2.co.uk
User name: O2Web
Prompt password: No
Password: (four digits but they are starred out)
Authentication: Normal
Gateway IP address: 0.0.0.0

i dont think the password is vital as the prompt is se to NO

i hope this help the people out there having ttrouble connectioning to agile messenger with an O2 sim card

o2 mobile web??, i thought you could only connect with agile messenger with o2 wap gsm (or any standard dial up connection)

ive tried connecting with gprs, mobile web and i cant on my 3650

you cant access the internet protocol with WAP only with GPRS/EDGE/3G can you do that

no dial up service will not connect at all

ive learnt alot about mobile internet as ive been messing about with it on my XDA-II since march.

and i dont know much about the whole wap/grps thing but i know it can work through wap, i've had it on before, but since i changed sim it wont work (now that i have 300 free wap minutes :-x )

i've downloaded loads of diferent settings and just generally clogged up whats on there i think, where can a working wap configuration (for agile messenger) be found? i.e. the o2 ngage tm arena one - i already have this but it dont work


also, how would i go about viewing the www on my phone? is this possible? i think i've got grps enabled as i went into an o2 shop and they sorted out mms for me, does it work the same way?
