MobiLuck 2.1 is available!!! :D
You can download it for free at www.mobiluck.com.

MobiLuck is the best Bluejacking and Toothing software available for Symbian phones. :D
With MobiLuck you can detect all Bluetooth devices around you. You are notified by an alert when MobiLuck detects a new device. :)
Then you can send messages, files and contacts and do a lot of things...

IMPORTANT: If you are already using MobiLuck version B.2.0 and you don’t want to loose your profile, you need to copy the file system\apps\MobiLuck\mobiluck.db from c: or e: and paste it into c:\system\apps. Your profile will be transferred during installation.

- French, English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Norwegian, Hungarian, Serbian
- Sending template messages as a contact (in vcard format)

Well, I just read it and i installed the application above described.. Man it rocked me when it's very first thot ran in to my mind, but then after i installed it in my Nokia 3650, having 128Mb MMC, it gave me an error App. closed, Temme guys what should i do???? Restarted my phone also..But it doesn't help..

i got that error twice too, but i went into fexplorer, exit, then tried it again, it worked... weird. :-?

OK guys i've followed Tzeonn's advice and installed the proggy with fexplorer. and what-a-you-know, now it works :-? :) oh well maybe they've become to fixed on the 'chaperone' function in the mobiluck program. LOL

Same problem here, version 2.1 crashed the first time I tried to launch it. This version seems to be a little slower than previous version (when clicking on items in menus for example...). As mentionned in the readme, vibrate option doesn't work very well.

Question : my 6600 is in english, is it possible to use Mobiluck in french? I can't change the language settings

Edit : I uninstalled and reinstalled Mobiluck, and when I start it, the message box "Mobiluck exchange your profile with other users. Activate?" shows with only the "Ok" option. Before I uninstalled it I had "Ok" and "cancel"...

I first installed this application to the MMC and it gave errors and wouldn't start.
Removed it and installed to phone memory and it seems ok, but haven't played around with it anywhere yet.

i have seleq and i have the same error.... tried enterin exiting seleq and installing with seleq and opening mobiluck many times.... it wont work! i wonder how they could oversee a bug like this... 0_o it just wont work on any phone unless u have fexplorer

this app works well on my ngage the only problem is that when ever i find a person with bt my fone alarm goes off and only stops when i turn mobiluck off. is there a way to stop the alarm going off???

Sorry for replying so late! I had not subscribed to this thread!!!

If you have the 'app. closed' message, please download the latest version (2.12 at the moment) from www.MobiLuck.com. It should work now.

If you have the 'installation not complete try again later' message just after installing MobiLuck, the installation is not finished. Just wait 1 or 2 minutes and try again. If you get the same message several minutes later, then something went wrong during installation and you can try one of the following:
- download the last version from www.MobiLuck.com and install it
- install MobiLuck in your phone's memory instead of the memory card
- delete manually the LicenceIT.txt file from your MobiLuck folder (c: or e: \system\apps\MobiLuck\) and try to launch MobiLuck again

If the 'Send MobiLuck' (previously 'Chaperon') feature doesn't work, you can still search the mobiluck.sis file in your mail folder (c: or e: \system\mail\) and paste it manually into your MobiLuck folder.

If your phone rings instead of just vibrating when you detect a Bluetooth device or if an alarm goes off, you can turn 'vibrate' off in 'Parameters\Alerts'. The vibrate feature works only if the 'phone' app is in foreground when you detect a new Bluetooth device (press the red key to go back to the 'phone' app at anytime). Since you wanted the 'Vibrate' feature so badly we decided to release it even if it doesn't work perfectly on some phone models/firmwares. We are still working on it...

If you want to install MobiLuck in a different language you can use the following tricks:
- change your phone's language to a different language currently supported by MobiLuck (english, spanish, italian, french, dutch, serbian, polish, ungarian, norvegian) and install MobiLuck again (it will automatically select the phone's language). Then set back your phone to the previous language.
- change your phone's language to a different language not yet supported by MobiLuck (e.g German) and install MobiLuck again (you will be able to choose among available languages). Then set back your phone to the previous language.

MobiLuck version 2.12 will expire 31 Dec 2004. But don't worry there will be a new version before with a lot of improvements! :D

We hope you enjoy this new version despite those small installation problems!

I d/l and installed mobiluck on friday night, went into town (Carlisle, UK) on Saturday with the kids and misses discovered 21 active mobiles, just how fantastic is this software and how funny is it when you message someone who is sitting with Girlfriend or boyfriend and they cannot tell them who is sending them mesages .... it makes Saturday shopping all worth while ..... I have sent this to several of the ppl I messaged and now have a number of buddies who havent even seen my face .... keep up the good work

my mobiluck new version,installed succesfully yet when im about to send msgs... im not able to send one... and just appears "Connecting..."....do i need to change my seleq to fexplorer? mine is 6600 though i believe it will work out...i just dont know what would be d changes ...

Hi,

I have installed the Mobiluck and when i go to send a file through bluetooth to my pc it says 'searching' then goes to 'connecting' then to 'Tying to send' then straight to 'Failed'.
When i try to send a file or messege to a phone it says 'searching' then goes straight to 'failed'

What should i do? PLease help, i need to get my videos onto my pc so i can format my mmc. (cant send files through bluetooth normally or with FExplorer so i was told to use this)

alot of people i try to send a message to dont know they got anthing.
coz wen u send sumthing to sumone the autorisation screen comes up, but there is no alert, only once they have accepted and downloaded a message alert happens. Am i doing sumthing wrong? does the person im sending to need to have mobiluck aswell?

Nope, it's just the way it is. The only way you can send direct messages without authorization so far is to be "buddied" with your "assaliant".

Yes. Other people's bluetooth devices have to be turned on in order for you to connect to them.
