Need help with 7190

I currently am using a 6340i and that thing has pretty much fallen apart on me. I bought a 7190 cause it has the same sim card and I thought I could us it in that phone. I got a card that had the sim card on it when I got the phone that said "pacific bell". We don't have that in FL, we jsut have Cingular. I don't know what I have to do to program the phone for Cingular or not? do I needa unlock it and reprogram or seomthing? the sim card on the pacific bell one says "32k S" while my Cingular says "32k G" is this something i might have a problem with? Also, the phone comes on and shows my phone # under the settings but it doesn't recognize anyone numbers form my phone book???? This I thought was a little weird.

and I hae more questions if anyone can answer. I got the 7190 cause of the SIM card, but like the 7160 cause of the Slider function but I hear it's only TDMA and not GSM. anyway I can get that button slider (it's only so I can show off my cool phone) and I also kinda like that function as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know these questions my be small to what you all do and sorry to interrupt any other things you all have going on. hopefully I can learn.

edit I've been playing around with the phone and did a manual search on "system search" it came back with "USA 038" and "VoiceStream" I'm guessing I have to unlockthe phone since it came up with this?
