can't install .rar Documents onto 6600!!!

Guys/Gals,

Does anyone know why I can't install .rar documents onto my Nokia 6600? I only seem to be able to install .sis documents.

u can only install .jar or .sis files.

get winrar to extract rar files, like winzip extracts zip files.

i thought everyone knew that RAR files is the same as ZIP files.... only rar files are smaller

WinZIP extracts ZIP files
WinRAR extracts RAR files + some others

Well Duh...

Dude make sure that you don't extract a JAVA game (eg java.rar) to your phone. Open it up, and if there are lots of *.class files etc in it, leave it as it is, and jst change the filename extension to *.jar and then send to your phone.
