Hello,
I am new here. I have the following problem: Just got a 7610. I have installed a screen reader application called "Mobile Speak" (http://www,mobilespeak.com), which automatically loads whenever the phone boots up. Since I had problems with its operation, I decided to remove it. Every time I tried that, the phone shut-down and boot again. So, I decided to manually delete some files using Nokia Phone Browser. I deleted the speech synthesizer that comes with Mobile Speak. Anyway, what is happening now is that my mobile boots, tries to start-up automatically Mobile Speak, it fails, it shuts-down and restart again ... shut-down...restart, and again and again. If I remove the MMC the phone works, as mobile speak resides on the MMC. However, when I put it back I get this looping boot - shut down thing.
Since I do not know anything about Symbian, how can I stop this behavior and uninstall Mobile Speak? Is there any "registry" thing that I can access to remove Mobile Speak from the boot procedure? Is there any way to clean the MMC? Can I do something from my PC?
Thank you,
Rick
