can any1 pls help me??? i used to be able to use my card reader for my 6600's mmc but it doesnt seem to work for my 7610's rsmmc with the extension bit... it doesnt read de card.. what do i do? pls help......

It reads mine perfectly. No problems at all, just like a regular MMC

May sound stupid: but did you put the right face up?

yea i did get it on the right side.. in fact tried many times.. but i stumbled upon de 7610s using regular mmcs thread and did that instead... thnx newaez..

You're going to use a regular sized MMC in your 7610? :-o

I know its possible, but modding it ... :-o

lolz i din file off any o the parts.... just stuffed the mmc in... wun spoil the fone ryte????????

shouldn't. maybe the mmc though.

About the RSMMC reader problem, try updating the drivers for the card reader. If that doesn't work, hell, buy a new reader, those things are like 15 american.

Try removing the password on the card, I tried that and everything reads fine

any other advices? cos i have the same problem..my card reader works
on the regular mmc which i used with 6600 and n-gage but when inserting
the rsmmc (with adaptor ofcos) it doest see it..wonder why???

any help would be gladly apreciated..

btw, i did managed to update the drivers of mu card reader but still nuthin!

erm... how can use it if it can't recognize my rsmmc (through the card reader) ,which is my problem on the first place.

kk people who have tried da 7610 rs-mmc with the extension bit with an reader please state the brand an model no. if possible.......and ones who were unable to do so please state the same with the respected model no. etc. of the reader the card failed to work on...............plus ppl who have made the rs-mmc work.......did u use the stock 64mb rs-mmc or sum other card on your readers ?

My MMC Card Reader/Writer hasn't experienced a problem with reading RS-MMCs (with adaptor attached of course).

I had the 64MB RS-MMC that came with my 7610; and
Another ATP 512MB RS-MMC that I bought off Expansys.com.au

Both works. No problems. Trustworthy. Compatible. Reliable.
