6600 BT help!!!

hi all hope some of u can help me!

my 6600 seems to be locked so that i cannot send .sis and .midi files (from my phone) through IR ot BT.

and yes ive tried selEQ, EfileMan, and about a million orher types of software! if i try to send any files nothing happens.

ive noticed that if i rename the .sis files to .jpeg the phone lets me send them.

can ne 1 help me?

just rename to .si or .ja, then rename back to .sis or .jar on recipient phone.

that works but i want to send to a t610 which wont have that feature.

what if i reset the phone?

no use, since its part of the firmware.

and u cant install .sis/.jar files on t610. .jar files might b incompatible. but .sis is a definite no no.

.sis = SYMBIAN.... t610 is NOT symbian...

if u absolutley wanted to send sis, jar or midi files via bt without renaming you shouldnt have upgraded ur firmware! this works on the old FW

Woah , friend, that means u got the latest firmware....hahaha

ok, actually after u rename it to .si and send to another 6600 and when u open it up on that phone, it will STILL regconise the file and begin installation. jus a thoght if u din noe about this. theres no need to rename it back to .sis....
