hi guys!

yesterday i've installed smart launcher... despite most of u telling me not to, but i couldn't wait any longer to have a XP menu on my N-GAGE! (A lot of ppl were asking if it would damage an N-GAGE... my experience tells me it doesn't)!

Nothing bad happened... perhaps because I've devided to be cautious and I've installed it in phone's memory.

Nevertheless, I'll unistall it today... I simply can't stand battery draining apps... I've placed an XP-like wallpaper, obtained with the screen capture app, for that XP look!

And i'll be installing Mobiluck 2.12 today... also battery draining... but at least it won't be running all the time, but only when I'll be among a crowd!

lol why would you want a crappy xp style background on your phone??

i did have smart launcher on my phone and it worked ok, i got a pretty decent matrix background, but i didnt like the way i re-aranged my menu all the time. i only used it after that to do the dodgy start up thing, where you plug the charger in, turn the phone off then press the menu key.
lol that worked great so i had like 3.5 - 4mb ram free on my 3650 :)

lol it gives you alot more free ram than you would normally (very nearly all the ram free)

you make sure smart launcher is on, plug your charger in, and turn your phone off. then wait till you see the battery bars moving cos the charger is plugged in, then press the menu button (i had to press it twice sometimes) and it opens your menu

for some reason, smart launcher keeps all the links to the menu open, you wont be able to make phone calls or send texts or go on the net etc, but you'll be able to play things like sonic N etc with no problem.

when you got the menu open, just hold down the menu key and have a look how much ram you got free, then do the above method and check it then

try it :)
