higher sound lower quality? 7610

hi everyone..!

i bought a 7610 today. i brought it home and started to search its features.

It's sound is strong like ngage but da quality is not. i heard that before but my question is that da quality of amr files get lower when i increas the sound capacity. not mid tones only amrs. is that all same or do i have anyproblem with my phone?

and one more thing:

did you get ring tones in your mmc named like seduce, wink, swing...?
i found them in my mmc card sound file. there are 20 of them and all is amr.

Well, I convert all my favourite music to the following MP3 settings:
Encoding: Constant Bitrate
Bit Rate: 24 Kbps
Channels: Mono
Frequency: 16000 Hz

The quality is better. Try testing with higher or lower settings, but beware ... the 7610 might not support the frequency etc

Those aren't ringtones ... they are the Music Library for the Muvees (feature icon called "Movie" in the Main Menu). Your default polyphonics are in Z:/Nokia/Sounds/Digital
