in my opinion, a 6 in 1 card reader is ur best bet
(i have all three: ir, bt and card reader by the way)
you can transfer all ur files into the desired directory in ur MMC
and big files (like videos) are no problem too

the only hassle is having to remove the MMC from ur phone
if urs is an Ngage or 6600 coz u have to switch off the phone 1st

i agree... thats the only hassle.

but its the fastest way to transfer files, or organise ur files.

im using a cardreader all the time for my 6600. cheap and good and user friendly for all my devices beside my phone.

Count me in guys!!! I'm in the card reader...

Transferring large amount of files via IR or Bluetooth takes a lot of time, espacially when youre uploading videos, mp3's and n-gage games :D

Yeah. Card Reader, simply for the transfer speeds.

Yep it's gotta be the card reader, I to have got all three bt, Ir and card reader, The card reader always works there is never a problem, you can always format the card with a card reader.

both bluetooth n mmc card reader are good.

Bluetooth - For individual or small bulk SIS/JAR files needing transferred to phone
Infrared - No use for me, i'm using the Nokia 7610
Card Reader - Good for large transfer of files. Can access the System folder (use to use Card Reader to transfer n-gage game files)
USB - Good for large transfer of files eg mp3s. Cannot access the System folder though

It largely depends on what phone you have.
If you have the 6600 ... I'd get a card reader first, and then save up for a bluetooth dongle.
If you have the 7610 ... I'd use the USB cable first, buy a mmc card reader and save up for a bluetooth if wanted
If you have N-Gage/N-Gage QD ... I'd buy a MMC Card Reader (NB: N-Gage can use USB Cable - very useful)

what? the 7610 doesn't have IR?
:p

well... if u have an N-GAGE, there is absolutely no need of a MMC reader...

If you've got a few memory cards it's quite handy to have a card reader even with a ngage. PLus all those dodgy cards that don't read on your cable and PC.

one doesn't have that many memory cards, I guess...

(i've got 3, but I only use one... the largest...)

Yes, the 7610 doesn't have Infrared. Nokia made a good point though:

It is useless to send Mega Pixel pictures through the slow speeds of infrared

Yeah. Who sends data via heat these days?

These days most of the data I send are pictures via Bluetooth to unsuspecting commuters on their way to work. i just wish youcould send the bigger files by BT.
