Nop, it's not a photoshop work. You can put your desired font to a s60 phone in C:\System\Fonts\

I'm using one as well (to be able to use Thai language) :smile:

anyways, i tried to test it out on a 6600 but it doesn't have any C:\system\fonts folder, the fonts are found at drive z:\ which cannot be altered. I tried to make one at C:\ and restarted my fone...but nothing happened.

You wud have to create a folder "Fonts" by yourself, then simply put a .gdr inside and reboot.

It shall be C:\system\Fonts\".gdr file" :smile:

the q9 program use this trick to install a chinese font on english symbian device
my menu fonts are much smaller comparing to the default font as i m using q9

but i guess there are some settings in some system files that tell the system to load the font
it won't be as simple as putting a font in the directory

anyway, 6600 and 7610 users can try it with no fear as they can format the fone without getting through the nokia logo.

This works 100% on N-Gage, since the only phone I owned now is N-Gage :-P

to stop using the font, you need "Handy File" to rename "Fonts" folder to whatever (then you can also delete .gdr inside if you want) then reboot. You'll need this HandyFile coz FExplorer won't allow you to rename the folders in system :)

Same on my 6600, but I curently looking for solution how to mage my own fonts, i wont diffremt fonts for diferent themes, forexample i wont to see comic san on my phone...

it works, on my n-gage too, just depends on what font u use, had another guy trying the Comic Sans font on his 3650 and it crashed too.

I'm using the one that Pou_Pee send me, wich works perfectly on 3650,6600 & N-GAGE so that one is OK.

It probebly has something to do with the size & dots it uses

rename first the folder "font" on C:\systems, any will do..i've renamed mine to "fontsis", after that u can delete the .gdr font and the font folder, reboot ur fone and the normal font will be activated again.
