help with tones

i am sorry if this has been covered but i can not find it i have the nokia 6600 and wanted to know is it possible to get my mp3s off my pc as ringtones if so how do i do it and if not possible where could i try a site that does songs as ringtones

put your mp3's in the E:/sound/digital folder, then select it on the ringtone menu

you cant use mp3's as ringtones on 3650/3660 and 6600, only midis, amr or wav files (as well as the standard beepy ringtones and polyphonics). think you can on the n-gage tho???

At least on 6600 you can also use OggVorbis files as ringtones!
You only have to install the OggVorbis plugin by Symbian.

use pc suite to send, place it in sounds/digital folder of mmc using file transfer of pc suite.

it will convert to wav for u.

i thought there was a slight problem with ogg files on your phone??
remember reading at how when the phone started ringing it didnt vibrate even though the vibrate function was on, it justplayed the ogg file??

yep you can i have several mp3 ringtones, and sorry ogbsij, i thought the 6600 is the same as the ngage!

I've just tested it again, and yes, you're right. The phone doesn't vibrate any more. :(
