just want to add, does anybody knows an applcation software that mimics the function of most common ifrared remote control to be used by 3650 or 3660. i've seen one before, they just select the model . let say for television. then they just controlled it using the phone's IR.
thanks

for the app, its called ir remote.
i heard of data cables, but haven heard of anyone using one to work.
normally, we use irda, bt dongles, or mmc card readers. if u really got a usb cable, and if it works, u dun need softwares, u can just go to my computer to see it.

most will work, get a bluetooth dongle.
if u move big files like mp3, movies, use a mmc card reader. mmc card reader cant install apps thou, unless u got a file explorer on ur phone. thats why u need bt.

u can transfer, but takes a while, for example, a 5 mb mp3 might take up to 3 min, so imagine moving a 120 mb movie.

yah, you're correct, i've experience that on my Smartphone, i used to transfer mp3s or other files using its usb connector or sometimes i use the universal card reader (7 in 1, or 8 in 1) with my sd card, it is much faster than the built-in irda.
but transfering from smartphone to 3660 can also be done via its infrared.
