Message Problems 6600

All of a sudden i am having problems with the messaging on my phone.

I can't seem to delete some of the messages on my 6600. Some are in my Inbox and the others are in my Drafts.

I'v tried re-formatting my phone (which deleted all my contacts!) and this did nothing to rectify the situation.

Also i don't get any sort'v alert when i get a text message or missed call now, so i never know when i have a text.

Does anyone have any tips they can give to me?

do a hard format, i think u shuld press 3, * and the call key all the same time then power up, do not release the 3 buttons until u see that the fone is formating.
