Can't REMOVE Face Wave =(

Hello,

Just bought a N6600 and tried installing Face Wave but it won't work so decided to remove it but I CAN"T! Please help. Removing it from Manager (App Manager) won't work. It's as if it hangs 5 secs from removing it. :sad:

Also, how do I send an application to another N6600?

Use a file explorer and try to find all files associated to that app.

use a file explorer, delete the folder in e:/system/apps.

use a file explorer, u can send stuff to other phones.

Thanks for replying Iwas able to delete Face Wave using FExplorer (I hope)
and now I've been trying to send files/apps using vai FExplorer but really don't know how. Can you please be more specific with the insctructions or direct me to the page here in the forum where it was already mentioned?

In FExplorer if you press "Options" on a file then "Send>" you can send that file however you like. :)

well, u can use fexplorer to send. but, if ur running the later version of firmware on 6600, u gotta do some extra work.

u have to rename the files, for example, .sis to .si, or .mid to .mi, since nokia modified the firmware to prevent sending of apps/games.

u have to rename if ur firmware is 4.xx i tink.

Okay I have 4.09.01. You mean I don't have to send the entire folder? Let's say I wanto send the game Mosquitos via MMS, all I have to do is to rename the .app file on the folder? Sorry I'm not good with this.

if u wanna send mosquitos, send the .sis from pc to ur phone, then send the .sis file to anyone u want.

Of course I have to send the .sis file using FExplorer, right? And the other person does not need to have FExplorer installed on her fone to be able to execute the program that I'll be sending via MMS?
