6600 & 7610

Hi guys,

As I understand both 6600 & 7610 run on the same system and what I don't get it is why 6600 can't have multiple languages (eg chinese & English) whereby 7610 can , I have a 6600 chinese version but I can't do MMS with the phone cos the stupid service provider told me chinese version is not supported. I could upgrade the firmware to English but then the trade-off would be I couldn't read the chinese SMS anymore!! :evil: At least that's what I been told. :-?
Anyone can help me out on this??

install an app called Q9, so u can read/write chi sms.

do you know some places actually sell chinese version of 6600 somewhere? I know that in Singapore, I have seen them selling in Chinatown area...

They do sell the chinese version here in Malaysia but of course Nokia does not release any chinese version here as well. I heard about Q9 but when I ask the nokia authorise dealer here about it, they say is not compatible. Frankly I don't trust those guys at all :-P , so tzeonn can you confirm that Q9 will actually works on the latest firmware for the english version? If it does, I will probably just upgrade it.

Q9 definately works, I have been using it for a long time now, but don't RUSH pressing the buttons because sometimes that will make it crash and you have to reset phone.

i dun really recommend installing that software. it gonna go real heavy on your phone. make ur phone laggy and such. i personally dun like it at all and have diminish that software....

and yeah, you can quit asking those nokia idiots. see what they will answer you when you ask them, " can i play ngage games on 6600?" hehehehe
