emulating flash files?

i dunno if this sounds dumb or not.. but everytime we want to test or view a new/modified software we always need to flash it to a phone. So, I think if we could just create an emulator just like emulators for game console it would be great!

Though looks like it would be really complex :(

peter hanzel did a simulator for 5110...
but its came just up to the SIM error message ;)

actually i wanna try one for my 3210...

i'm on the process of collecting information about ARM RISC processors right now...

But if you look at it, dct3 cellphones hardware are much simpler than PSOne and PS2 console.. if someone can do it, somebody else could do it too :)
