3510i + Microcontroller

I want to be able to do remote item on / off via SMS with my 3510i. But before I look at microcontrollers (PIC microcontrollers), I need 2 understand the FBUS or AT commands first. Could someone direct me to the FBUS Protocol information and a AT command list.

Am I right in thinking i can use AT commands to read SMS messages?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
