Hi, You know that with new firmwares we cannot send directly any .sis or .jar files.. this isn't a problem when all 2 Nokiers knows well to reaname the extension, send, an re-rename again. It is quite boring but makeable.
But if they are newbies? What person give you his phone and let helped in this way by you?.. Most cases these persons say: "Nevermind, we try next time".. and you can't try the new BT game or app.. grrr!!

Now I think is no difficut to make a program that can share itself by its menu (like psiloc that can install a demo verson to other symbian phone), and so start sharing the .jar and .sis contained in the phone memories. Transfer, save them an then start the install process.
All will be easy! :)

Thanks to programmers

a tip:

when renaming, just add a "2" to the extension again;)

since symbian only detects 3 letters for extension

example:

motogp.sis > motogp.sis2

send it and u dont have to rename it again.

all my sis apps/games in my HDD already have *.sis2 extension. :D

i renamed a midi file to .mid2 and tried sending it via multimedia, it didnt work, it says file format not supported, i tried sending it via bluetooth it allowed it (but i didnt send it to another fone as i didnt havve no one next to me)

i hate nokia, why dont they want us to send midi files? they aint copyrighted! FuCKING BASTARDS!!! ARGHHHHH we can send it from ericcsons so why not nokia?

Try renaming it into two characters like "*.mi" or something, worked for me

use the send file option in mobiluck, this always works for me on any file type, but it can only be used over bluetooth.
