6600 Opera not working

Posted this in another forum but saw this forum so decided to try here... My friend brought his 6600 to me because Opera is not working. Everytime I get the error that the "opera.app" file is corrupt.. How can I access this file? and can anyone perhaps mail me a non-corrupted file?
