lack of samsung flashes/flash probs

There seems to be a lack of links for samsung flash files, as i was surfing for ages came across this site www.vickygsm.cz/flashes.htm can anyone let me know how they get on with these as im unsure whether i have the right cable i have two phones with suspected software faults

1- samsung A300, no sound through earpiece, changed earpiece no joy

2-samsung A300 seems ok but if u dial out phone switches off and/or restarts

any help with these greatly appreciated hope the link helps people out and maybe people can help me with suspected software faults many thanks
