hers one for you this has me baffeled.

I have (had) installed on my phone various product from Psiloc ie: Screensaver, erecorder etc. All with keygen and was working perfectly.

How ever I went on there wap site and downloaded some more stuff and now all these say expired I have tried deleting all item and reinstalling them but get hte same message

Any ideas what to do

Turn the date on your phone back to 2003, register them with the keygens then turn the date back.

I think the newest psiloc protection leaves files even after it's been uninstalled so you might have to look in c/system/data and c/system/libs for psiloc files (they might be in other folders too) and delete them before reinstalling everything.

Thanx for this I have already tried this but I am not to sure which files are Psiloc or not, any ideas which are which ?

unmakesis the installer so you could view all files that have been installed on ur fone, u could then delete it, unmakesis would also display on what path it will be installed.

It's an easy problem to solve,try changing phone date,i.e. try putting 10/10/2003,this solution has worked well on my mobile,after registering you can change back the date,bye

The problem is that if the new psiloc app (update or simply a check to wap) notices about a suspect reg, they will pass in "demo" mode and you can't redo the reg again. They will leave some information that doesn't permit a new installation again.

Now I want to know if there are some files leaved or maybe a key in the symbian system register! :???:

Use unmakesis like shadow said, it will show you what files went where.

It only checks the date,after some times the application tells you to update it,anyway uninstall it,put an old date(10/10/2003),intall the same app(not the new version),register it and then put the today date,make me now if it will work

Its the easiest program to use =S

Click on "Open" to open the SIS file, then click on "Extract Files"

Done. That wasn't so hard, was it? *scratches head*

I have used UnMake SIS but the file I installed will not open, I dont know what Psiloc has done but my phone is now cream crackered. Gives loads ov error messages on boot up. I think the best thing is to flash with uodated S/W will this also fix the trouble with Psiloc?

Wouldn't a format be a better idea before going to the hassle of getting it flashed.

Yes, SAVE WHAT U CAN and then format with *+3+green key+boot up
All will return right.

In the future when u encounter difficults with psiloc expiration, simply delete the file system.ini located in c:\system\

So no need to unsis, delete by hand etc. Simply this file.
I've saved the keys on notepad, so when it happens I delete, backward to 2k3 and register again. Very easy and all works good.
Note that system.ini can contains other programs register information, so have a look to your other applications to re-register them. (however i hadn't problems!)
