I just wanted to know what tools the people at #ngage used to mod red faction because it could be possible to fix screwed up colours in games like ghost recon and ashphalt

You'll probably find some useful stuff in the s60 developers section of www.nokia.com

Why don't you ask in #NGAGE, if that's where the mod came from?

Right, so changing ingame speech means you can fix colours.

NO.

It won't be that simple as with red faction - i can assure that. It's not the problem of the graphics, not even the palette. It has something to do with the code so it will be really hard to make it work well on 6600. Besides I think that games like Asphalt won't run on 6600 simply because it hasn't enough RAM.

There is actually some interesting differences in the code when you compare a game where the colour doesnt work, to where it does, concerning 4k colour modes it looked like. Cant remember much now though, it was a while ago.

Some german people are working on that for SX1.

And it worked for about 5 minutes... then the flashed FW crashed!
:(

But we won't give up! :-)
