View Full Version : N-gage alarm
hey guys, I'm having a bit of difficulty changing the alarm sound on my n-gage... I kinda wanna wake up to an mp3 or something, anything but that annoying beeping sound! It's easy to do on the 6600! I can't seem to find a function however to change the standard alarm sound??? am I being a complete retard or is it actually impossible to change it??
I'll give a shiny penny to the man (or wo-man) that can find a way...
(warning shiny penny may not be given)

I don't think you can change it.
Slump the standard alarm and find a program called Remind Me. I don't think it will support mp3 but it supports wav and mid for sure, it'll even display a wake up picture  a bowl of porridge maybe

If you want to use the normal clock application with your own ringtone, you can also try WorldClock Pro (http://www.psiloc.com/index.html?action=ShowArticleItem&ida=299).
But as yuppo said, I don't think you will be abled to use an *.mp3 tone. You can only convert the tone into a *.wav file with the PC Suite or Nokia Multimedia Converter.

Yup, entended profiles allows you to set a ringtone as your alarm in the morning (not sure if it'll work with mp3, but it works with wav definately)!
