8210 mic fault

I have a 8210 phone. my problem is the when I make a call I can hear the other peson but they cant hear me. Ive change the microphone but that did'nt help. Can any help me or is the phonr just busted. Ive flashed the phone to v5.31 and its a rom5 if thats any help. Im still a newbie at all this and would be very gratefull for any help at all

yes mate yout BGA IC cobba is faulty it will cost £15 + £3 P&P to repair if you are interested please E-mail [email protected] someone there will get back to you

Before you rush into any costly repair, you could try heating the base of the board where the audio ic sits with a soldering iron of heat gun. There may be a faulty joint on the BGA chip.

Cheers Barry, I'll do that. I had a freind tell me to try a headset in the fone and see if that worked. Well it did so im wondering if the fone isnt so busted after all.

Hiya Barry just to let you know Ive bathed the board on this 8210 and the problem has cured it's self.

you said you bathed the board i need to know what you ment by that because i have got the same problem can anybody help me to where do i find this chip inside and warm it up
